Highlights of Day 7 Pro Wrestling League Season 3:

Ladies and Gentlemen this has indeed been a great day for all wrestling fans. A great performance by all 14 wrestlers. This could have been anyone’s game in the end but a great show by UP Dangal.

Desperation was visible in the way all wrestlers battled against each other in what can be called as a highly closely contested match.  This match might have stopped the breadths of all the fans of both NCR Punjab Royals and Veer Marathas. But in the end, t was NCR Punjab Royals who were slightly better than Veer Marathas. Delhi’s Sangeeta Phogat wins the Player of the Day for her excellent performance.

8:39 PM IST: Abdurakhmonov Bekzod is on fire in this bout winning 9-0. This has been a cracker of a day for all the wrestling fans. UP Dangal winning 4-3 against Delhi Sultans.

8:37 PM IST: Abdurakhmonov again going for the leg hold using his speed. The first minute of the second round and Bekzod gains a straight 4 points from the leg hold leading 7-0.

8:36 PM IST: This is the decider for the semi-finals. Delhi Sultans need to go all out now if they want to stay in the league.

8:34 PM IST: This is the final bout of Day 7. Will Delhi Sultans be eliminated or will UP perish? Bekzod leading 3-0.

8:30 PM IST: Bekzod is on a fire gaining 2 points but good defensive work by Bekzod still maintaining a two-point lead. Bekzod going for the leg hold.

8:26 PM IST: Ladies and Gentlemen, we now enter the final bout of Day 7. Asian Championship Gold Medalist Bekzod Abdurakhmonov goes head-to-head against U-23 World Championship Silver Medalist Vinod Omprakash in Mens 74 Kgs.

8:22 PM IST: Vinesh wins the bout by technical superiority 15-0. This was one of the most dominating bouts we saw today. Vinesh is a superstar. UP Dangal equalising 3-3 against Delhi.

8:20 PM IST: This is a bout of legends. Vinesh leading 13-0 at the end of Round 1. Will she win by technical superiority?

8:17 PM IST: The bout has started with an explosive start. Vinesh is super quick, attacking like a bee. Vinesh gains 2 points with one minute into the bout. Vinesh gains 6 points leading 8-0. We are just 2 minutes into the bout.

8:15 PM IST: This has been an incredible match between the two neighbours. We now enter the sixth bout of Day 7. Making her way into the ring is the iconic CWC Silver Medalist Vinesh Phogat taking on Maroi Mezien.

8:12 PM IST: Jamaladdin winning by pinfall against the young engineer 6-2. Jamaladdin has proved that he deserves to be the European Championship Silver Medalist.

8:09 PM IST: Jamaladdin has started on an aggressive note gaining 2 points. This is a desperate attempt by UP Dangal to maintain the momentum. Can Delhi Sultans get a 4-1 lead. Jamaladdin using his strength, Hitender making a great come back equalising 2-2.

8:06 PM IST: Ladies and Gentlemen as we enter the fifth bout of Day 7. This is the heavyweight of all bouts. Making his way into the ring European Championship Silver Medalist Jamaladdin Magomedov taking on Hitender in Mens 125 Kgs Category.

8:03 PM IST: Ladies and Gentlemen what a cracker of a tournament that we are seeing. Delhi Sultans leading 3-1 against UP Dangal. Can they maintain this momentum until the end? Who will rule the ring finally?

8:00 PM IST: Sangeeta has got a home advantage. Sangeeta gains 4 points leading 7-4 in a single move. This is a great come back winning 7-4. Sangeeta has defeated the World Championship Gold Medalist.

7:58 PM IST: A single leg hold by Vanesa, can she turn it around. A great manoeuvre by Vanesa. Can this be a deciding factor? Let’s wait and watch.

7:55 PM IST: For Delhi, this is a do or die situation. Sangeeta gaining crucial 2 points. But this round goes to Vanesa leading by 4-3 against the crowd favourite Sangeeta Phogat. Stay updated for the second half.

7:51 PM IST: This is an aggressive start by Vanesa gaining a straight 4 points in the first half of the fourth bout.

7:48 PM IST: Ladies and Gentlemen we now enter the fourth bout of DAY 7. Entering the ring is CWC Silver Medalist Sangeeta Phogat taking on World Championship Gold Medalist Vanesa Kaladzinskaya in Women’s 57 Kgs category.

7:47 PM IST: A comprehensive victory by Alborov over the 18-year-old wrestler. Delhi leads 2-1 against UP Dangal so far.

7:45 PM IST: Can Vicky make a come-back. Alborov in an attacking position gaining  2 more points but this is turning into a heated bout. Vicky will not go down without a fight and gains a point against the Hungarian.

7:44 PM IST: Alborov is an iconic player, a World Champion Bronze Medalist. Alborov turns Vicky gaining another 2 points. Vicky giving an ankle-hold to Alborov.

7:42 PM IST: Alborov shows that he too is on a mission showing his experience leading 3-0 at the end of Round 1.

7:41 PM IST: Vicky has restricted Alborov from taking crucial points. Alborov makes a come back gaining 2 points. This is a huge experience for Vicky but it is a difficult task.

7:40 PM IST: This match is a Man Vs Boy. Vicky is a teenager taking on a World Champion. Can we see some explosive action from the young wrestler?

7:32 PM IST: Ladies and Gentlemen what a DAY 7 this match is turning out to be. Crowd cheering in full flow. National Silver Medalist Vicky Kumar takes on World Champion Alborov Aslan in Men’s 92 Kgs category.

7:29 PM IST: Zsanett wins by pin-fall 3-2 against Samar. Great come back by Zsanett Nemeth.

7:27 PM IST: Samar leads 2-1 against Zsanett. Both players are now in an aggressive mode.

7:25 PM IST: Both players in a defensive mode. With 2 minutes over in the first round. Zsanett gains 1 point. Can Zsanett take dow? Samar.

7:23 PM IST: Both women are on a mission and looks like they won’t concede points so easily. Both looking desperate to enter the semi-finals.

7:21 PM IST: Ladies and Gentlemen, we now enter the second bout of Day 7. Making her way into the ring European Gold Medalist Zsanett Nemeth taking on African Gold Medalist SamarAmer Ibrahim Hamza in Women’s 76 Kgs category.

7:16 PM IST: This match has come to life. Nitin gains 2 more points. Nitin is not allowed the challenge. We saw a dramatic finish. Sandeep wins against Nitin 8-8 making a great come back from behind.

7:12 PM IST: We now enter Round 2 of the first bout of Day 7. Who will be the king of the ring? Nitin gains 2 points. What a come back by Nitin. Sandeep gains another point. This match is becoming a one-sided match as Sandeep leading 8-3. Totally in control of the game.

7:09 PM IST:  What a battle with 2 minutes into the first round. Sandeep gains 4 points leading 5-0 at the end of Round 1. The whole tournament is hanging on this match with Delhi Sultans.

7:05 PM IST: With an over-enthusiastic crowd, we enter Round 1 of today’s match. Both wrestlers playing in a very conscious way. Sandeep Tomar tripping his opponent to gain 1 point.

7:00 PM IST: We now enter into the first bout of Day 7. Asian Bronze Medalist Sandeep Tomar goes head-to-head against National Silver Medalist Nitin Rathi in Mens 57 Kgs.

6:50 PM IST: Ladies and Gentlemen the toss has been done. UP Dangal has won the toss blocking Geeta Phogat and Haji Aliev also has been blocked. Will this toss be a game-changer? We will find out. Stay Updated!

Countdown to the most anticipated match is here, UP Dangal taking on Delhi Sultans. UP Dangal are already in a victory mode standing neck-to-neck with Haryana Hammers in the league table. But can they maintain their dominance against Delhi Sultans or will the Dangal perish at the hands of their neighbours? Delhi Sultans would have to go for an all-out attack if they want to register their maiden victory stay in the competition and would have to back their Women players. Delhi Sultans are yet to register their maiden victory but the road to victory seems to be a heavy task as they have failed to perform in both the matches they have played so far. On the other hand, UP Dangal have managed to create a big impact by winning both the matches they have played against Mumbai Maharathi and NCR Punjab Royals.

Delhi fans would be having high expectations from Aslan Alborov who is the only player winning both the bouts and Sushil Kumar if he wrestles in tonight’s game and also from Haji Aliev. UP Dangal fans would have high expectations from Bekzod Abdurakhmonov, Nitin Kumar and Vinesh Phogat who have won all their bouts against their competitors. Toss would have a big impact on today’s game and we will get to see which player gets blocked. Delhi fans would be disappointed if Double Olympian Sushil Kumar does not play or gets blocked in today’s high profile match.
